Step 3: Click on the 'Four stems' button in the top panel to get the Vocals, Drums and Bass.
Note the two options; 'Vocal noise gate' will reduce additional noise on the vocals and 'Perfect reconstruction'allows you to either get the best quality or so that all the stems added back together will recreate the original audio signal.

Step 4: Click Accept, and wait for the software to separate your file. When the separation is finished, you will see four new tracks in the multi-track view.

Step 5: You could now click the Vocals button and select the Vocals track to separate and this time choose Lead Vocals if you further wish to separate the vocals.

Step 7: You can now solo or mute the vocals or individual instruments depending on what you are looking for.

Our Recommendations for Best Results

We suggest using a high-quality, uncompressed recording when possible. The best results will be achieved with uncompressed files such as WAV, AIFF, or FLAC. Although DeMix Pro supports formats like MP3 and M4A, these are compressed in a way that degrades the audio quality, which makes separating them difficult.
