What is the difference between DeMIX Pro and DeMIX Essentials?
DeMIX Pro and Essentials both offer high quality audio separation algorithms. However, there are differences in the features on offer. You can separate vocals, bass and drums using both Pro and Essentials. However, you have more separation options in DeMIX Pro. It also offers pan-based separation, as well as a lead vocal/instrument separation algorithm.
You can separate a stereo/mono mix into a maximum of 4 tracks in Essentials, while Pro offers you unlimited tracks. In Essentials, you can separate audio with a samplerate of up to 44.1 khz and a bit depth of 16 bits. Pro separates up to 192kHz and 24 bits.
To further improve separations in DeMIX Pro, you can use the spectral editing to remove unwanted sounds from the separations. You can also use the melody editor feature to separate harmony parts from a mix.
