David Crosby died this week on January 18. He was an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter, and a founding member of both the Byrds, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and also embarked on a solo career.

'Turn, Turn, Turn' was originally written by Pete Seeger in 1959. The song became an international hit in late 1965 when it was adapted by the Byrds. The single entered the U.S. chart at number 80 on October 23, 1965, before reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on December 4, 1965
