Hear Taylor Hawkins Isolated Drums from Learn To Fly

Foo Fighters, Dave Chappelle, Stevie Nicks, Elton John, Jason Sudeikis, Wolfgang Van Halen, Brian Johnson, John Paul Jones, Lars Ulrich and more have all come together to honor the life and music of Taylor Hawkins this weekend.

The late Foo Fighters drummer, who died unexpectedly while on tour in Colombia in March, was celebrated by his close friends, family, and fans at the first of two tribute concerts in London's Wembley Arena on Saturday.

In honour of Taylor Hawkins we take a listen to his drumming on the hit track "Learn to Fly". It was released as the lead single from their third studio album "There Is Nothing Left to Lose". It was the band's first song to enter the Billboard Hot 100.

"There Is Nothing Left to Lose" is the Foo Fighters third studio album. It marked the first appearance of drummer Taylor Hawkins, and is often seen as a departure from the band's previous work, showcasing a softer, more experimental sound. Dave Grohl has stated that the album was "totally based on melody" and that it might be "[his] favorite album that [they've] ever done."
