Hear Shane Hawkins Isolated Drums From My Hero Performed At Wembley

Shane Hawkins Performed My Hero At The Taylor Hawkins Tribute At Wembley Arena. Hear His Isolated Drums Now

Last weekends tribute to Taylor Hawkins was a very hard look at the tragedies of the Rock and Roll lifestyle. Not only was Dave Grohl after losing his second band mate after Kurt Cobain, but almost every act had a tragic story. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush performed without Neil Perth. Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen performed without Freddie Mercury. John Paul Jones, whose band Led Zeppelin ended with the death of John Bonham, aged 32. Nile Rodgers, who lost his bandmate Bernard Edwards after a gig in Tokyo and was there in Columbia the day Taylor Hawkins died. Lars Ulrich from Metallica who lost Cliff Burton in a road accident. Paul McCartney after losing John Lennon. Brian Johnson performed a Bon Scott era AD/DC song. Wolfgang Van Halen performed some of Eddie Van Halen's classics. Each of these acts have their own sad story.

However, not all is lost. Rock and Roll still has a bright future. Enter Violet Grohl, Nandi Bushell and Shane Hawkins. Shane Hawkins proved to be an inspiration and blew up the internet with people calling for him to replace his father as the official drummer for the Foo Fighters.

See what the other acts had to say about him here:
